PROCCEDURE:
1. The ideal situation would be to do the portraits from my preliminary drawings and color studies plus my photographs and if the distant between me and a client is such that will be the process; but in most cases that will not be possible because of the distance involved.
2. If working from life and my reference material is not possible then I would need to rely on the client to obtain the photo references I would need; I would work with the client to obtain the best photos possible by helping with the design, composition and lighting (always if possible use natural light, one dominate light source.)
3. I will work from existing reference photos if that is the only way to complete the art work, i.e. posthumous situations.
4. At the conclusion of the painting I will send client photos of the finished artwork for final approval via the internet or postal service (prints or CDs); if it is oil painting and final approval is given I will do the final varnishing and after it is dry enough to ship I will do so.
DEPOSIT: There is a non-refundable 100.00 deposit at the start of work.
COST: The price of the art work plus shipping. |
